When choosing lamps, the color of the lamps should be in harmony with the overall color of the home environment. Since lamps have light sources, their color is quite prominent. To avoid disrupting the color design of the entire home environment, it is essential to pay attention to the coordination of the lamp covers and shells with the colors of the walls, furniture, and curtains. 

It should be noted that the color light emitted by the lamp is different from the color of the object. The three primary colors of an object are red, blue and yellow mixed to form black, while the color light is the addition of the three primary colors to form gray. The blue of the object combined with the yellow results in green, whereas the blue and yellow of the color light result in yellow-green. Therefore, when choosing a lamp, it is advisable to select one whose color light can match the color of the interior of the room. 

3. Style 

The living room environment should have a certain style. Therefore, when choosing lamps, one can make the selection based on the overall style of the home and one's own artistic taste. Different styles of furniture have different requirements for lighting. The colors and materials should be coordinated, and the styles should be unified. However, since the styles of many lamps are rather vague, flexible combinations are needed. The same lamps can suit different styles of home decoration.
